A pocket full of sorries.
I put them in my pocket until they are due,
Some of my sorries I collected from you,
People are so sorry, so sorry indeed,
My heart fills with more sorry's the more I bleed,
I can't understand why I hurt,
And I can't hold back this pain,
Teardrops falling from my eyes, almost mistaking them for rain,
I'm sorry that I hurt you,
I'm sorry that I lied,
I'm sorry that you feel that way,
I'm sorry that you cried,
I've heard all the sorries that one could ever hear,
I still remember the urge and want to have you near,
My pockets full of sorries that I'd like to give to you,
I wanted to beleive your words, too bad they were untrue,
I almost bought your act, although it was so see-through.
I'm so hurt, so broken, so torn, you made me feel useless,
Your so sad and sorry to have put me threw this,
So after all the pain all your actions have caused me,
Now it's my turn to hand out a pocket full of sorries.
